Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area is an often overlooked park within the National Park Service. Sprawling over 125,000 acres, the park features many waterfalls, natural arches, scenic overlooks and awesome rock formations. Known for its bountiful wildlife including bear and even elk, Big South Fork is loved by photographers and nature seekers. The park features plenty of hiking trails and some even allow for mountain biking or horseback riding.

If you are looking forward to bringing horses, there are a couple of cabins on the list below that offer stables. If you do not choose to stable horses onsite, there are several local facilities that will board your horse during your stay.

The below list of cabin stays are divided into two sections, those located in Tennessee and those located in Kentucky. Since Big South Fork spans across two states, this list allows you to map out your trip depending on where you plan on spending the most time.
