Discover an incredible popular Seattle attraction the Museum of Flight. Featuring many aircraft and enticing over 500,000 visitors a year, this place boasts big planes to small models. The museum even occasionally displays exhibits from the Smithsonian.

The museum opened in 1965 and has grown immensely over its time of operation. One building on display includes the Boeing Red Barn that was the original factory for the now large corporation. It was abandoned after World War II but now allows visitors to explore Boeing’s humble beginnings.

The first jet Air Force One is also on display. This is one of many planes which also include a Boeing 747, Caproni Ca.20 (world’s first fighter jet from WWI), de Havilland Comet (world’s first jet airliner) and one of five remaining Aerocars (car with detachable wings and propeller).

The Museum of Flight also has a restaurant and banquet facility available for meetings or events.
