Rumored to be haunted, the historic Atlas Theatre presents several shows a year inside its grand venue. One of Wyoming’s most beautiful indoor theatres, this place is known for its amazing architecture and engaging shows.
While the Atlas Theatre was originally opened as a confectionary shop in 1887, it was later converted into its current state in 1907. It was a successful theatre until 1929 and sat vacant for a few months.
After it was reopened as The Strand, it later changed names to The Pink Pony as a nightclub. In the late 1960s, the Cheyenne Little Players club began acting inside the historic theatre. They later purchased the property in the early 1970s and have operated the facility ever since.
According to some people who have spent time in the theatre, there is reportedly two ghosts who haunt it.
