About

The American Sign Museum is housed within an old parachute factory. The 20,000 square foot building features dozens of displays from antique signs to retro neon. These signs date back to the late 1800s through the groovy 1970s.

Visitors to the museum can not only see the signs but also learn about the history and art of design behind their creation. Within the museum is the a neon workshop that has full time tube benders who create or repair vintage signs.

There are about 500 signs that are scattered throughout the museum along with over 3,500 artifacts, tools and other rarities. A popular exhibit in the museum is “Signville” that offers a faux streetscape that gives passerby a feeling of walking down a nostalgic Main Street in America.
